TWO goals by Padiham's in-form striker Michael Morrison helped the Storks to a fine away win over Blackpool Mechanics.

However, it was Paul Fildes who put Padiham ahead on 25 minutes, when he converted a penalty after Andy Haworth had been fouled.

Blackpool equalised with what proved to the the last action of the first-half, when the Storks lost possession on the half-way line and Dan Sutton scored with a long range effort.

After the break, Padiham regained the lead on 50 minutes through Morrison with a back post header from Fildes' corss.

The home side had Ian Flannery sent off for striking Padiham's Chris Blundell and within two minutes of the red card being shown, Padiham struck again as Morrison powered his way through to chip keeper Josh Wood and give the Storks their two-goal winning margin.
