Tom Heaton 7
Little he could about either goal. His handling was solid with shots from distance and he saved well from Chadli.
Kieran Trippier 6
Switched off like the rest of the back four for the first, but partly redeemed himself with some very alert defending to deny Eriksen later on.
Michael Keane 6
Harshly penalised for handball, he was then struggling to catch Kane for the first. Defended with composure apart from that.
Jason Shackell 7
Making his 100th successive league start he produced some superb blocks to deny long range efforts from Spurs.
Ben Mee 6
Given a tough time by Lamela in the first half, turned inside out by the Argentinean before giving him too much time to score.
Scott Arfield 6
Struggled to get into the game and had to be alert defensively whether playing left or right to help with Chadli and Lamela.
Dean Marney 7
Kept going in difficult circumstances on his White Hart Lane return and tried to get tighter to Eriksen in the second half.
David Jones 7
Tenacious work to win the ball back for the goal and tried to press Spurs two sitting midfielders when he could.
George Boyd 6
Joined Mee in sitting off Lamela as he ghosted in from the touchline to score. Worked hard but not as effective going forward.
Danny Ings 6
His three chances at the start of the second half were all presentable opportunities and will be disappointed not to have finished at least one.
Ashley Barnes 8
Goal was a stunning finish but he contributed much more, freeing Ings on a couple of occasions and working his socks off.
