WEST Bromwich Albion's £10m striker Brown Ideye has revealed he is hopeful of recovering from injury to face Burnley on Sunday.

The Clarets travel to the Hawthorns seeking their first win in the Premier League and face a West Brom side who beat Hull City 3-2 in the League Cup last night.

Nigerian striker Ideye, signed from Dynamo Kiev in the summer, netted his first goal for the Baggies in that game but went off with an ankle injury soon afterwards.

But Ideye tweeted: "My injury is not that serious, hopefully I will be fine before the next game."
