BURNLEY midfielder David Jones was denied a goal by the crossbar, but was satisfied to secure a result against his old club Manchester United.
Jones, who started his career at United, hit the bar with a free kick in the opening minutes of match.
The Clarets drew 0-0 to register their first point in the Premier League after losing to Chelsea and Swansea City in their opening two matches.
“To hit the bar was a bit unfortunate,” Jones admitted.
“But it was a good all-round team performance.
"It was nice to finally get a point on the board today.
“I don't think I've had a result against United since I left the club.
“Hopefully we can kick on now and take something from the first three games in the Premier League.
“We're enjoying it."
