NELSON will be hoping it is third time lucky as they prepare to face Colne in the League Challenge Cup tonight.

The second round clash has already been postponed twice and one more will see the tie switched to their near neighbours.

Both sides have an added incentive to win as a money-spinning home tie against FC United awaits the winner.

Nelson boss, Graham Howarth, said: "If it is called off again then we will have to surrender home advantage. It's been frustrating but there has been nothing we can do about it.

"Hopefully, it will go ahead tonight. The FC United game is a great incentive for both teams because money like that can make a big difference."

Duncan Bennett is banned while Manza Ditta is doubtful.

Meanwhile, Colne are without Paul Walker with a shoulder injury.

Manager Nigel Coates said: "Playing your neighbours in the cup with FC United awaiting the winner means there is no greater incentive to win."
