Chorley health trust seeks new director

A non-executive director is being sought by NHS Central Lancashire.
The post is being advertised by the independent Appointments Commission, which handles recruitment to all non-executive director posts in NHS trusts.
Preference will be given to applicants who live in the areas served by NHS Central Lancashire who have gained commercial experience in the private, public or voluntary sectors at a senior level.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills in a number of areas, including customer focus, strategic thinking, risk management and service development and be able to contribute at board level.
The time commitment is a minimum of two and a half days each month and remuneration is £7,882 pa.
The closing date for applications is 19 November 2009 with interviews to be held on 7 December 2009.
