NEW Bolton Wanderers boss Sammy Lee is urging companies to join the club's historic tour of China this summer.

Wanderers' Academy under-19s will become the first side to represent the club in China in July.

They will play games in Wuhan and Bolton's twin city Zhaoqing.

During the visit, the club will officially launch the first phase of its football development centre, the first of its kind in China.

The club has teamed up with Bolton Council, the North West Regional Development Agency and UK Trade and Investment to give local companies the opportunity to join Wanderers on the tour.

They say it will allow businesses to take advantage of the club's extensive contacts in China.

Eligible companies will have their visit subsidised by the partnership.

The opportunity will be launched at a special event at the Reebok Stadium tomorrow when Sammy Lee and Wanderers chairman, Phil Gartside will be present.

The event is free to local companies, with a buffet lunch provided.

Companies interested in joining the club on its historic tour can register to attend the event by emailing chinaevent@bwfc.co.uk or by calling Lynx Group International on 01565 624090.
