PRINCESS Anne will visit Blackburn next month to see the work being done in the borough to help carers.
The Princess Royal will visit Blackburn with Darwen Carers' Centre, Oakenhurst Road, in Blackburn town centre on Friday, March 2.
She will be visiting the centre in her capacity as patron of the Princess Royal Trust for Carers, which jointly funds the centre in partnership with the council and the Blackburn with Darwen NHS Primary Care Trust.
The centre employs a range of staff with skills to meet the support needs of local carers, and it also provides a base for a number of adult social service staff whose work focuses on carer support.
