THE relationship between the high salaries paid to employees or those employed (ie Jonathan Ross) is self serving.

In defending the salary paid to Ross (and others) the BBC director general is in effect justifying his own high salary.

It is a cosy mutual arrangement designed to cross justify where both parties benefit.

Still it's only your money and my money and staying under budget and reducing the licence fee is not an option.
