I HAVE read with interest over the past weeks the various letters that have passed through the pages of the LET in relation to the Lewis Textile Museum.
I would like to add an avenue of investigation for the people of Blackburn.
As the museum was left to the borough as a living reminder of Blackburn's industrial heritage, one would assume this was done by Deed of Covenant?
If this is the case, I would suggest that Blackburn with Darwen Council's legal department be contacted as the terms of this covenant may well prove to act as saviour of the museum.
