THE Government has decided, in its wisdom, that warning signs are to be displayed on all alcoholic drinks and outside premises that sell alcohol.
Is this not the same Government that only six months ago brought in new legislation allowing licensed premises to open 24 hours a day?
This legislation was introduced back in November 2005 even though there was strong opposition from both the police and the medical profession.
This is yet another example of this Government bringing in ill-thought out legislation then having to cobble together more legislation, making a mockery of our Parliamentary system.
