I AM in total agreement with the letter from Mr G Howard of Padiham about the attitude of some of our binmen.
I also had the same problem regarding the sack for used newspapers etc.
They emptied the sack one week and so far as I know did not leave me an empty one.
So I put my next newspapers in a claret bin liner as this was the only thing available and left them for the next collection two weeks later.
I returned later that day to find the bag still there because it was the wrong colour. Petty.
How am I supposed to fill sacks if I don't get an empty one?
I also agree with the state our street looks after we have had a visit from the rubbish collectors.
Blue boxes all over the street with lids missing and generally a disgrace.
The sooner we get back to the old system which has been in use for many years, the better.
