With all the bad publicity that the Royal Blackburn Hospital has received, I would like to forward my comments.
I was admitted to the assessment ward on December 17 and within a couple of hours was transferred to the coronary unit for 24hrs, then to ward B18 for a couple of days and then to Blackpool Victoria.
During my stay on all the wards I found them to be spotlessly clean, the food was good with a varied choice, and above all the staff on every ward trated me with the utmost courtesy and respect.
Nothing was too much trouble for them.
I would like to say a big thank you to all the doctors, nurses and ambluance crews who were involved in my treatment.
To anyone going into the hospital I would say, treat the staff as you would expect to be treated.
Rita Johnson, Darwen.
