DISGRACEFUL is not too strong a word to describe the Royal Mail's new advertising campaign, employing a gaggle of so-called celebrities and pop singers to extol the virtues of its "services" and then to call it the People's Post Office.
Words fail me..
What about the elderly "people", the disabled "people," the "people" with young children who have to travel miles to use the facilities because their local post office has been closed.
I wonder what fees these "stars" are being paid for appearing and do the Royal Mail bigwigs think it is money better spent than giving the "people" a decent service.
