IN REPLY to Mr Chris Eggleston's letter about the sentence passed on the scout sex fiend.
In it he stated that if one of the judge's family had been sexually abused then he would have received a longer sentence.
My granddaughter was one of those involved in the case and it not only affected her but the rest of her family.
She is no longer the child she used to be and we have to live with the effect the abuse had on her, and as a loving family unit, help her pick up the pieces of her life.
As her family, in our opinion, even the 20-year sentence suggested by Mr Eggleston would be too lenient.
