WHILST travelling home along Livesey Branch Road (Feniscowles end) on May 28, something hit our car with tremendous force.
I pulled in further along the road and on checking, my husband saw that the nearside rear window of the car was shattered.
On having it repaired today, it was as we thought, the result of an airgun pellet.
Whoever the idiot is who did this, I hope he/she will think again before committing such an irresponsible act.
What if he/she had hit a child, or indeed, the cyclist we had just passed when it happened.
We reported the incident to the police and pinpointed for them the approximate house, where the shot could have come from, and they said they would drive up and down the road to let any wrongdoer know of their presence.
I won't hold my breath!
