OVER a period of several weeks I have had to visit Royal Blackburn Hospital and on each occasion I have travelled by bus from the town centre. A convenient and pleasant enough journey.
The return however, has not been so pleasant as during very wet and windy weather I have had to endure these conditions, while trying to shelter under the newly erected shelters sited in the hospital grounds.
These have been left open to the elements and provide no protection at all from the weather.
I know that my fellow passengers are of the same opinion and I am quite sure the designers of such inadequate structures have never had to make use of them.
