A MAN has been charged with attempted rape after a woman was sexually assaulted in her own home.
Muzaffar Iqbal, 42 of Bakerhouse Road, Nelson, will appear before Burnley Magistrates this morning.
Police said that on Wednesday a 34-year-old woman was sexually assaulted at her home address in Nelson.
Iqbal was arrested on Wednesday and was charged yesterday.
