Amir Khan's community gym will be officially opened today by Conservative Party leader David Cameron.
Mr Cameron will arrive at Gloves Gym in Osman House, Prince Street, at 11.45am and it will be the second time the Tory chief has visited the new facility, which is being funded by £700,000 of Amir's fortune.
Last September, it was the venue for the launch of the party's Young Adult Trust charity, which was formed in 2005 in response to a drive by Mr Cameron to revitalise youth work.
Amir's gym was selected because he has publicly backed the work of the charity.
The Mayor of Bolton, Cllr Barbara Ronson, will also be at the official opening of the gym, where youngsters can train for two hours for 50p.
