A 38-year-old woman arrested after the murder of Darren Catherall in Wigan has been bailed.
The woman was arrested yesterday on suspicion of perverting the course of justice. She has been bailed until March 13, pending further inquiries.
Darren, aged 40, of Walter Street, Wigan, was found lying unconscious on Thorburn Road, Norley Hall, at about 7.15pm on Christmas Day.
James Halliday, aged 29, of Grasmere Avenue, Higher Ince, Wigan, has been charged with his murder.
