A NEW £2million primary care health centre in Burnley is to be officially on Monday.
The Briercliffe Primary Care Centre, which houses a four-GP practice, replaces the former surgery, which was housed in a 1930s semi and a small terrace house.
The purpose-built Briercliffe premises also provides a base for diatetics, podiatry, and children's clinics, including a health visitor-led Well-Baby Clinic.
The new centre was built by the Lancashire-based Eric Wright Group, who are the LIFT building partners of East Lancashire PCT, and who built both Nelson's Yarnspinners Health Centre, Burnley's St Peter's Centre, Bacup Health Centre, and currently working on Hyndburn's two new health centres for the PCT.
