THREE Polish men have appeared before Blackburn magistrates charged with robbery.
The court heard James Millar, 20, had his jaw broken after being confronted as he walked to work at 5.30am on Monday.
He was attacked and his mobile phone stolen.
Half an hour later Christopher Golding, was confronted in Darwen Street, the court heard.
He was also said to have been attacked and his car stereo was stolen.
Mr Golding broke his elbow and needed surgery.
Mariusz Djiegelewski, 20, Michal Sylwester Sjostak, 19, and Lukasz Mlodjianowski, 21, all of Harecourt Road, Blackburn, were sent in custody to Preston Crown Court on charges of robbery wounding and assault.
