A YOUNG woman was horrified to discover a kidney in her chicken dinner.
Claire Crispin, of Longfield Road, Daubhill, said she was almost sick when she discovered the kidney attached to a piece of fried chicken.
The 20-year-old made the grisly find after picking up two Big Daddy meals from KFC in Derby Street, Bolton.
It was only when she got home that she found the chicken’s kidney in her dinner.
KFC identified the giblet and sent a letter to Ms Crispin apologising for the find, along with an offer of a £50 goodwill gesture.
