The annual conference of Inner Wheel groups has been taking part in Blackpool this week with hundreds on members hosting a number of charity events.

One of the events at the Winter Gardens was christened Hanky Panky.

Members from throughout the country had produced 2,000 handkerchiefs which they were selling in aid of Unicef's Born Free From HIV campaign.

Other events at the conference included a three day Blooming Tea Party to celebrate 60 years of the Marie Curie charity and a speech from TV personality and former musical star Aled Jones, who has family in the resort.
