Last chance to register your vote for Burnley's Police and Crime Commissioner

TIME is running out to register for a postal vote in Burnley in this year’s Police and Crime Commissioner election.

The election takes place on Thursday, November 15, and the deadline by which people must be registered to vote is October 31.

Residents who want to vote by post or alternatively cancel a postal vote and attend a polling station must do so by 5pm on October 31.

Graham Burgess, returning officer for police elections, said: “It has never been easier to have your say with different ways to vote so freely available.

“But please make sure your vote counts by making sure all your information is correct and up-to-date.”

Thought post that attacts a 100k salary was for Lancashire,or is Burnley to get its own. Another job created for the boys, anyone seen or even know whos standing. Its a total face another waste of money. Could be better spent allocated, they say no money available but there is for this.
