‘BANK of Dave’ TV star David Fishwick has helped another fledgling local business.
He was at the opening of Crystal Eternity, a new wedding dress shop in Keirby Walk, Burnley, on Saturday, along with former Big Brother contestant Becky Hannon, from Blackburn.
Owner Sarah Mottershead transformed the vacant building following a loan from Dave’s Savings and Loans ‘bank’.
Hit Channel 4 show Bank of Dave sees the van sales boss offering low-interest loans to help small businesses.
He said: “The most important thing is we’re filling up empty shops. The magic for me is watching the boards come off the windows and the shutters roll up.
“Sarah has worked ever so hard to turn the shop around. Myself and David Henshaw, my chief financial officer, get a real kick out of seeing this work.”

sorry i'll give it approx 6 months before closure in Burnley.3 wedding shops have closed including a big franchise;with the recession people just buy this stuff from Asda now .
