Missing Burnley girl found in Staffordshire (From This Is Lancashire)

I hope she is going to be prosecuted for wasting hundred of man hours of Police time spent looking for her, time that could have been put to much better use elsewhere.

I am not sure if going somewhere without telling anybody could be classed as a crime.How could she be prosecuted?

Yes, had there been an option to comment on the original story, given the age, ethnicity, sex and supervisory arrangements for this person, I would have suggested the police might have started looking at kebab shops and nearby CCTV in both locations.
Are we allowed to ask for the circumstances of her being found, e.g, staying with friends? Glad she's OK.

This "child" will be more worldly wise and grown up than most adults, she'll go missing on a regular basis and end up coming back whenever she can be arsed. The Police then spend time working with this "child" along with other agencies trying to educate her as to how vulnerable they are and steer her life in the right direction, but guess what, she doesn't listen and goes and does it all again and then the police have to down tools and find her again, deploying more resources. In the mean time houses are getting burgled groin is being dealt and people are being injured on the roads. In this day and age where the thin blue line has never been as thin the finite resources have to be used sparingly. Now if for example it was an April Jones type missing child scenario then yes, everything else takes a back seat but these circumstances are totally different.

So as you can see my comments aren't stupid my dear and yes she is wasting police time. Maybe if she was brought to book she'll think next time about the consequences of her actions and stop being selfish.

Trying to make it sound like she went missing FROM Burnley and was found ALL THE WAY down in Staffordshire when all along she was only 5 miles away from where she went missing from. People who write on here are backwards in the head.
