An injunction has been granted against a tenant from Crook Street, Chorley after neighbours complained about her causing a nuisance by shouting, swearing, playing loud music and generally disturbing the peace.
The injunction, which will be in force for 12 months, was obtained against the woman who has been warned about her behaviour and the possible consequences on a number of occasions.
She has also been referred to various support agencies as she has admitted to a drugs problem.
Tenancy enforcement officer for Chorley Community Housing Craig Bradshaw said: “Despite trying to support the tenant to mend her ways, the problems for her neighbours have continued.
“The problems were so bad that two of her neighbours were willing to provide evidence for the judge at Preston County Court to consider.”
