Parking snooper car concerns
9:11am Tuesday 2nd October 2012 in News
A COMPLAINT has been made about a council surveillance car parking “illegally” in loading bays.
A resident raised concern at Westhoughton Town Council after spotting the Smart Car, belonging to Bolton Council, parked in loading bays in Market Street, Westhoughton and then ticketing people who were illegally parked.
Councillors voted in favour if writing to Bolton Council to find out the status of the Town Centre Plan, which will review parking, loading and unloading and the hours of parking enforcement. Westhoughton Town Council may discuss the issue further depending on the information received.

Why you ask ?? because I avoid town centres like the plague they are used by ignorant, self centred, me me, types who make parking, driving and even walking around towns a nightmare
So like many others have contribute to the dimise of our towns by shopping online saving myself money and getting less stressed, but what you wil find is those that are chasing us out of your towns are not spending much money they are just window shopping.
So if you get caught speeding or illegally parking or any other criminal offence tough, live with it or do as I do and shop online and give those of us who are happy to comply with road laws a chance to enjoy our towns instead

Westhoughton is a major target for traffic wardens and this smart car how about using it in Deane to catch people double parking in the bloody BUS LANE ? or is it a bit trickier there with cars not being driven by the registered owner/no licence/not registered at all/here illegally/banned/no insurance etc.
