Council is praised for boosting trade for Burnley firm

A BURNLEY firm has praised a county council scheme for helping to boost trade.

Process Instruments, which specialises in water quality-monitoring products, received funding and support from Rosebud, the county council’s economic development company.

Managing director Mike Riding said it was crucial for local businesses to be given backing in the current financial climate.

He said: “Without business support schemes such as this one, it would be almost impossible to raise the finance required to grow the business and increase the number of employees as we have done over recent years.”

Process used the money to invest in research and technology development.
