Fans of former Spandau Ballet frontman Tony Hadley can really get into the swing with him in Preston on November.

The Swinging True - The Big Band Tour concert features music from his new swing album Passing Strangers together with big band arrangements of classic hits, such as True, Gold, Through The Barricades and Only When You Leave.

The singer, along with 17 top musicians, will also perform arrangements of several of his other favourite songs including Walking In Memphis, Let's Stick Together and That's Life, at the gig.

Since leaving Spandau Ballet, he has had a mixed solo career but in 2003 he was the winner of the ITV reality television series, Reborn in the USA.

Since his success on the show, Hadley has toured extensively with both Peter Cox of Go West fame and Martin Fry of New Romantic group ABC.

Hadley's contribution to the music industry was officially recognised in October 2005 when The British Academy of Composers and Songwriters awarded him with a Gold Badge at their annual ceremony.

Tony Hadley is at Preston Guild Hall on Friday, November 3. Tickets, priced from £19.50 to £24.50 are available by calling the Guild Hall box office on 01772 258858.
