Share Burnley and Padiham crime concerns with police

NEIGHBOURHOOD police officers are urging residents in Burnley and Padiham to attend monthly meetings in their wards.

Police and Communities Together (PACT) meetings are taking place in all wards during September, and officers are urging people to come forward with their concerns, so they can be tackled.

Karen Edwards, Neighbourhood Policing Inspector, said: “Every single ward in Burnley and Padiham has a dedicated Neighbourhood Policing Team in their area working with them to keep them safe.

“Through initiatives like PACT, it is their aim to identify local concerns and tackle them.

“Where we know there is a clear problem, we can take action – and we do.

“All we ask is that people come along to the next PACT meeting to see us and to discuss with us any crime and disorder issues they may have.”

In northern Ireland, much of this is regarded as grassing, punishable by the effective use of a battery-powered drill - to what effect not mentionable here unless much upset is fancied.
