Blackburn van driver indecently exposed himself

A 40-YEAR-OLD van driver who indecently exposed himself to females after stopping to ask them directions has been made subject to an 18-month community order.
Shakeel Malik, 40, of Burnley Road, Blackburn, pleaded guilty to two charges of indecently exposing himself when he appeared at Blackburn Magistrates’ Court.
Magistrates heard Malik initially denied being the driver of the vehicle, but was identified by both women.
The first incident took place in Audley Lane, on May 15, after he stopped to ask directions.
This was followed by the second incident, on July 19.
Malik was sentenced to an 18-month community order, was ordered to pay £200 compensation to both of his victims, as well as £85 costs.
He was also ordered to register with the police on a regular basis for the next five years.
