Woman cut free after crash in Burnley

A FEMALE driver had to be cut from her car after being involved in a collision with a motorbike in Brunshaw Road, Burnley.

Fire crews from the town were called to the crash at around 4pm.

Paramedics were already at the scene and fire fighters used hydraulic cutting equipment to free the woman from her silver Peugeot 206.

The extent of her injuries is not yet known.

As an old friend of the woman involved, I'm pleased to hear that she is OK but as a motorcyclist I'm blazing to find that we don't figure at all.
