Man charged with murder

A MAN has been charged with murder following the death of a father in Little Lever.
Ben Edgar, aged 20, of Ashton Street, Little Lever, is due to appear at Bolton Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
Police were called shortly before 3am on Tuesday to Ashton Street, in Little Lever, following reports of a domestic incident.
Moments later, police received a second call to the address reporting a man had been stabbed.
Officers discovered Mark Stephen Leon Wood, aged 28, with a neck injury.
He was taken to hospital but died a short time later.
A Home Office post-mortem examination concluded he died from a stab wound to the neck.
