Man arrested after woman's body found in Eagley

A MAN has been arrested after the body of a woman was found in a house in Eagley.

Shortly before 2.40pm today, police received a report of a murder at an address on Park Terrace, in Eagley, Bolton.

Officers attended the scene and found the body of a woman, who is believed to be in her late 50s.

A 37-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody.

Police inquiries are ongoing.
