SCHOOLS Minister Nick Gibb has told a Bolton MP he will look at introducing life saving skills lessons to schools after her bid to make it law failed to make it through Parliament.

Julie Hilling, MP for Bolton West, has also promised that she will continue to campaign for every school-leaver to be equipped with life saving skills.

Ms Hilling’s Ten Minute Rule Bill, which would have introduced Emergency Life Support skills (ELS) into every school as part of the curriculum, was due to be read in Parliament last Friday.
