FOUR men have been arrested in connection with an incident where a group of 30 men descended on a Darwen house.
Last Monday, an altercation in a shop led to a mass confrontation outside an address in London Terrace, around 10pm.
A woman was taken to hospital with an injured wrist and three others were injured.
Police said the initial row was between a customer and a shopkeeper who then got a large group of friends to confront the man at his mother’s address.
Following the incident on 24-year-old man was cautioned for using racist language.
Yesterday, a police spokesman confirmed they had made several arrests of suspects believed to be among the 30-strong Asian gang.
They said: “Four men from Darwen have been arrested in connection with the incident.
"A 56-year-old man and a 23-year-old man have both been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder and remain in custody being questioned.
“A 25-year-old man arrested on suspicion of violent disorder has been bailed until November 15.
“A 28-year-old man arrested on suspicion of section 18 causing grievous bodily harm and violent disorder has been bailed until September 23.”
