COUNCIL bosses are seeking sponsorship for one of Burnley’s most prestigious business events of the year.
They are after backers for the fifth annual Business and Innovation Awards which take place on Thursday, June 30.
Councillor Martin Smith, Burnley Council’s executive member for regeneration and economic development, said: “The sponsorship-funded business awards are organised by Burnley Council but can only proceed with the valued support of sponsors and in a climate of declining public sector investment, the necessity to attract private sector support is greater than ever before.”
