A RESTAURANT owner has backed the fundraising campaign of youngster, Bethany Rose, who is aiming to raise £5,000 in memory of her mum Katy Rose who died of breast cancer.
The Brookside Primary School pupil launched the Candle 4 Katy campaign in aid of Breast Cancer Care earlier this month.
Mohammed Islam, owner of the Ribble Tandoori Takeaway, in Waddington Road, Clitheroe was so moved by her story that he is to give all the profits from takeaway sales today to the fund.
He said: “I was moved by her courage and determination and really wanted to support her campaign.
“Her dad Andy came in to collect an order that very night so I offered our help.”
