A LOUT just out of jail challenged a father-of-two to a fight at a supermarket in front of his children, a court heard.
Francesco Ligreci, 31, had been upset because he believed the victim’s partner had said something about him to his girlfriend.
Burnley Crown Court heard how Ligreci had been staying with David Gowers and his partner Adelina Warbrick for about three months before he was locked up for three weeks.
When he was freed last December 22, went round to get a stereo back.
Miss Warbrick told him she was busy and shut the door.
The defendant threatened to hit Mr Gowers, who was with his children, at Asda.
Ligreci, then of Havelock Street, Oswaldtwistle, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour.
He was given four weeks in jail, suspended for a year, with 80 hours unpaid work.
