ACTORS from Coronation Street, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and Dream Team will take part in an Allstars charity football event later this month at Leigh Sports Village.
A Tri Services team, made up of personnel from the Army, Air Force and Navy, representing SSAFA, will compete against the Allstars, featuring celebrities from Coronation Street, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and Dream Team at the Village stadium on Sunday, November 28.
Expect a tough encounter for the Allstars have an impressive record including a 3 -1 win against the Fire Service.
The Morson Allstars were founded over 15 years ago and have taken part in numerous fund raising events for charity. The Allstars have a history of raising significant funds and over £30,000 was raised for UNICEF at an annual football day held at Old Trafford in 2007.
The match is being played in aid of SSAFA (Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association) and will raise much needed awareness and funds for the charity, which supports those who serve or have previously served in the armed forces, including their families.
