Detectives were last night continuing to quiz two men arrested following a stabbing outside a Brierfield shop.
The men in their 20s were arrested on suspicion of wounding after the incident which happened when a row which broke out in Faisal's Mini Market and Asian Grocers, Colne Road, spilled on to the street.
A 36-year-old man suffered stab wounds to his back and stomach in the incident which took place at about 6.50pm on Tuesday.
A third man, a 37-year-old, was also arrested yesterday.
