TAKEAWAYS which incorporate the word cuisine' into their title have, in my opinion, got to be that little bit special to get away with it.
Fortunately Sukhi's in Darwen has a long-established reputation for quality as a restaurant and its takeaway is just as good.
I couldn't decide what to have so went for the standby dish of chicken tikka masala.
The better half wanted lamb rogan josh and we had portions of mint sauce and mango chutney bringing the bill to £12.20.
You can tell a good takeaway by the subtlety of its sauces and the one accompanying my dish was good enough to eat on its own.
With large, tender chicken pieces and a free vegetable curry it was a dish to savour.
So too was the rogan josh where the lamb was lovely and tender and the spicy sauce had plenty of kick.
Indian cuisine? Definitely.
