THEIR naked calendar caused a storm — and raised thousands of pounds for Christie Hospital’s cancer unit.
Now, the Knitting Noras are to disrobe once more for a limited edition set of postcards.
The Bolton knitting group members are hoping to raise £3,000 for the charity, After Adoption, with the cards, which will be sold online and via the Knitting Noras in person.
Two sets of five postcards will be printed, with just 1,000 of each image available.
The Noras’ project manager, Lisa Brooks, who also appears in the calendar and on the postcards, said: “We had so many excellent photos that didn’t make it into the calendar, it seemed a shame to let them go to waste.”
The group meet, fully clothed, on the second Tuesday of each month at the Blundell Arms in Chorley Old Road, and on the last Sunday of the month at Costa Coffee in Bolton.
More information about the Knitting Noras can be found at theknittingnoras.co.uk.
Postcards can be bought online from folksy.com/shops/nakedknitting.
