BOSSES at Clitheroe conservatory firm Ultraframe have now officially resigned ahead of a planned takeover of the Ribble Valley firm, it has been revealed.
Ultraframe's executive and non-executive directors, including company founder John Lancaster and chairman Rod Sellers, have now stepped down.
The news comes as shareholders look set to agree a multi-million-pound bid for the firm, which would see it taken over by Latium Holdings, a group led by businessman Brian Kennedy, also owner of Sale Sharks rugby team.
Mr Kennedy is to join Ultraframe's board with immediate effect.
Leaving the board are Mr Sellers, chairman, non-executive directors Mr Lancaster, Bernard Brogan and Richard Scott, chief executive David Moore, group finance director Alan Rothwell, UK managing director and group marketing director Vanda Murray, and group technical director Chris Richardson.
