DISABLED ramblers will take advantage of Blackburn with Darwen Council's electric buggies, known as Trampers, during a visit to Darwen next week.
Up to 15 people from the National Disabled Ramblers' Organisation, along with their able-bodied counterparts, will be taken on a route around Roddlesworth Nature Trail, Sunnyhurst Wood and Darwen Tower on Monday.
Members of Blackburn and Darwen Disabled Access Group (BADDAG) will accompany the visitors.
Councillor John Milburn, executive member for culture, leisure and sport for the council, said: "It is always a pleasure to welcome visitors to Blackburn with Darwen to sample our beautiful countryside. The planned treks take in some of the best views and countryside for miles around."
The buggies are hired out to people with mobility limitations who may not normally be able to access places such as Darwen Tower, Witton Country Park and Sunnyhurst Wood.
