David Guilfoyle
A HAPTON dad was today found guilty of murdering Accrington businessman David Guilfoyle, whose body has never been found.
Shane Fitzpatrick, of Lyndale Road, was convicted by jury at Preston Crown Court this afternoon by a majority verdict of 11 to one.
The trial lasted for four weeks and had heard that Fitzpatrick committed the murder out of a "possessive obsession" after his ex-wife started seeing Mr Guilfoyle, 37, of Royds Avenue.
