MANCHESTER band Kid British have released a footy song featuring Geoff Hurst in the video to celebrate signing a deal with Colne record label Modern English.
The song Winner by Kid British, whose sound is a fusion of punk rock, ska, hip-hop and reggae, features Lynval Golding, of The Specials, on guitar.
The four-piece - Adio Marchant, James Mayer, Sean Mbaya, and Simeon McLean - are all 'mad football fans'.
Adio said the band were excited after signing to Modern English and recording the new track.
He added: “We feel it can go on after the World Cup. We have got high hopes for the single, but we’re not trying to go for a high chart position.
"It's all about making a dent and showing that we’re back writing good songs.”
Winner is released on June 28.
