FILM director twins from Blackburn are helping to roar on England with a video for an alternative World Cup anthem.

Bashford brothers Liam and Kyle, both 21, shot and edited the video to accompany the song Cheaters.

Recorded by Ca$hbeatz, otherwise known as actor Stephen Nicolas from TV’s Dream Team and the film Damned United, and London songwriter/producer Nickson, the track also features Darren Bailie of the dance group Guru Josh Project, who were responsible for the worldwide chart smash Infinity.

The brothers, of Preston Old Road, have produced a comic take on the indiscretions of the England squad, featuring celebrity lookalikes.

Kyle said: “We shot it in London. It took a day to do all on green screens, and then two weeks to edit.

"It’s been released in Sweden, and hopefully it will get a release over here.”

The former media students got their big break last year, editing a star-studded charity anti-knife crime music video UK Flow, which detailed two stories about the possible outcomes of carrying knives and was broadcast in gyms and on London buses.
